Hi everyone, my name is Warner and I’m a PhD student in the Biological Design program here at ASU. After I earned my B.S. in Biochemistry at ASU in 2017, I began working in this lab in early 2018. My current project is titled Prime Induced Nucleotide Engineering using a Transient Reporter for Editing Enrichment (PINE-TREE). Here, we are developing a method for the efficient enrichment of genetically edited pluripotent stem cells using prime editing and a fluorescent reporter of editing. When I’m not in lab I enjoy spending my time outdoors either hiking, biking, or golfing.
