June 2: Congratulations to Mohan Pentakota (MS student in Chemical Engineering, ASU) and Kumud Mantri (BS student in Environmental Engineering, IIT Bombay) for receiving 2025 ASU Summer Research Initiative (SURI) fellowships! They will join the Berkson group for a 6-week research program on design and testing of functional materials.

March 7: The Berkson group is awarded a seed grant from the ASU Center for Clean Energy Materials (CCEM) — this DOE-funded project will support investigation of critical metal recovery processes for battery recycling
