Postdoc
Rimita is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Machine Intelligence in Medical Imaging (MI2) Lab, Mayo Clinic, AZ. She earned her Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Southern California, where she focused on developing computational methodologies for understanding behavioral characteristics of children. Her research interests broadly span across applications of deep learning and machine learning for speech and language related tasks in the clinical domain. At the MI2 Lab, her current work focuses on developing multimodal foundation models to advance prognostic capabilities in the medical domain, specifically for cardiovascular applications.
