What We Do

The STEER Lab was established in 2021 to foster a learning community of faculty, postdoctoral scholars, graduate and undergraduate students working across a diverse cadre of engineering education projects led by Dr. Adam Carberry.

The meaningful research conducted by STEER Lab members spans a variety of spaces (see Current Research Collaborations), including pre-college engineering education, undergraduate engineering experiences, faculty mentorship, and engineering research center evaluation. The potpourri of research areas allows team members to learn about many different topics, methods, and theories within engineering education. The sum of our work provides a unique experience to collectively work together toward greater impact on transforming the engineering education ecosystem at many different levels, from pre-college to industry.
