Shamma Nasrin is a Postdoctoral Research Scholar in the School of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering at Arizona State University. She earned her Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2022, where her research focused on efficient mixed-precision in-memory deep learning for edge applications. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in 2015. During her Ph.D., Shamma gained industry experience as a Graduate Research Intern at GlobalFoundries and Intel Labs. She previously worked as a Circuit Design Engineer with the DE Memory Circuit Technology Team at Intel.
Her research interests include mixed-signal VLSI design, memory circuit design, and the application of machine learning in VLSI.
