Kulanthaivelu Ramasamy is a Mixed-Signal Analog IC Design Engineer with over 20 years of industry experience spanning advanced CMOS and FinFET technologies. He currently serves as a Technical Staff Engineer – Analog IC Design at Microchip Technology Inc. in Chandler, Arizona, where he leads the design and integration of high-performance, low-power analog and mixed-signal IPs for complex SoC platforms. His technical expertise includes the design and verification of ADCs, DACs, PLLs, regulators (LDO and DC-DC), bandgap references, POR circuits, oscillators, charge pumps, OV/UV detectors, and high-speed analog/digital I/O circuits across technology nodes ranging from 130 nm down to 16 nm FinFET. He has successfully delivered multiple silicon-proven designs, supported IP generation and release, and driven full-chip analog integration through schematic, layout, PEX, aging, EM, and silicon validation phases. Prior to Microchip, Kulanthaivelu held leadership roles as Senior Manager and Lead Engineer, managing cross-functional analog design, layout, and applications teams across the U.S., India, Japan, and Malaysia. His work includes high-speed PLLs for Ethernet applications, low-power SAR ADCs and DACs, RFID transponders, and power management ICs for IoT and industrial systems. He holds a Master of Engineering (M.E.) degree in VLSI Design from Anna University, India, a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Bharathiar University, India, and Master Diploma in CAD VLSI from Fukuoka LSI University, Japan.
