Real-time IoT and Embedded Systems

Due to the interactions with humans and the physical world, many IoT and embedded applications require timely computation and communications. We recognize this as a research opportunity and try to design and build IoT and embedded systems ensuring real-time behavior.

Lingua Franca

We are actively working on Lingua Franca, an open-source software project for a polyglot coordination language for concurrent and time-sensitive applications, jointly with research groups and institutions all over the world, including UC Berkeley, UT Dallas, TU Dresden, Kiel University, Inria, and DTU Compute.
