Isabel Schinella

Isabel joined DEfECT Labs in the spring of 2023. She is currently pursuing her undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering and looks forward to getting her masters with Dr. Bertoni as well. Isabel has soldered multiple types of cells including single and 2×2 modules for the lab. She has also conducted 4 point bending studies on monocrystalline silicon wafers and various types of silicon cells. When she’s not in the lab, Isabel enjoys painting and drawing, crocheting, and exercise.
