Dilan

Born and raised in France, he completed his higher education at Sorbonne Université and Cachan (Université Paris-Saclay) and earned his Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from ESIEE Paris, focusing on composite materials. He then worked at Expliseat as a Certification Engineer, specializing in lightweight carbon-fiber aircraft seats.
In Spring 2026, he joined Arizona State University as a PhD student in Materials Science and Engineering and as a member of the DEfECT Lab, where his research focuses on solar energy and advanced materials for sustainable technologies. Outside the lab, he enjoys building model kits, listening to independent, alternative, and metal music.
