Led by Prof. Yanchao Zhang, CNSG conducts cutting-edge fundamental and experimental research on cybersecurity and privacy in computer and networked systems. Our current research spans a broad range of system contexts, including FutureG wireless networks (6G+), trustworthy wireless/embodied/physical AI, autonomous and unmanned systems (UAVs, UGVs, and robots), multimodal sensing systems, immersive technologies (AR/VR/MR), and their critical application domains. Our research and accomplishments have been made possible by the generous support of leading funding agencies, including the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF), Army Research Laboratory/Office (ARL/ARO), and Department of Defense (DoD).
CNSG welcomes highly motivated and self-driven students with a strong passion for research to join our group as Ph.D. students. Positions are available for both Spring and Fall admission. As a member of CNSG, you may pursue a Ph.D. in EE or CE through the School of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering (ECEE), or in CE or CS through the School of Computing and Augmented Intelligence (SCAI).
