Wu Lab as a core lab of ASU-Mayo Center for Innovative Imaging (AMCII) at Arizona State University has openings for one or more Ph.D. students and a Post Doctoral position starting this Fall 2022.

At Wu Lab, our research has been mainly focusing on medical imaging analytics for disease diagnosis and treatment assessment. This includes broadly imaging process (e.g., feature extraction), imaging registration, statistical machine learning and deep learning on multi-modality imaging (e.g., MRI, PET, CT) for various clinical applications (e.g., Alzheimer Disease, Migraine, breast cancer, etc.).

  1. Classification and biomarker extraction for Migraine and Post Traumatic Headache using novel deep learning techniques (collaboration with Mayo Clinic, Arizona)
  2. Building novel AI models to predict early onset of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and understand relationships between Aging and AD (collaboration with Banner Alzheimer’s Institute and Barrow Neurology Institute in Arizona)
  3. Multi-Modality Image Data Fusion and Machine Learning Approaches for Personalized Diagnostics and Prognostics of Mild Cognitive Impairment due to AD (collaboration with MS Tech. and Banner Alzheimer’s Institute in Arizona)
