Collaborative research on understanding snow-dominated karst watersheds response to climate variability

University researchers have been collectively awarded more than $700,000 from the NSF to study the Logan River watershed given its mountainous, snowmelt-fed, karst groundwater system.

We are collaborating with Bethany Neilson and Dennis Newell of Utah State University and Jim McNamara at Boise State University on a recently awarded NSF project to develop a integrated approach that use models and various field data to understand how mountainous karst watersheds respond to climate variability and change.
