Jeffrey Self joined Arizona State University in Fall 2023 as an Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering. Previously, he earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and a B.S. in Chemistry at the University of Texas (2016) where he conducted undergraduate research in the lab of Prof. C. Grant Willson. He went on to earn a Ph.D. in Chemistry at the University of California, Santa Barbara (2021) under the supervision of Prof. Chris Bates and Prof. Javier Read de Alaniz. Later, he did postdoctoral research in the lab of Prof. Chris Ellison in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Material Science at the University of Minnesota.
