analysis methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-lead\">&#8211; Laboratory and field characterization of asphalt materials to assess the impact of extreme environmental and climate changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-lead\">&#8211; Development and assessment of low-carbon transportation materials (i.e., recycled materials, WMA, and bio-based additives) in the design of asphalt concrete mixes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-lead\">&#8211; Using the life-cycle approach to investigate environmentally sustainable construction practices focusing on reducing carbon emissions, sustainable resource management, and extending pavement life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-lead\">&#8211; Collaborate with a team of researchers working on sponsored research projects from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Federal Aviation Authority (FAA), Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT), Southwest Pavement Technology (SWPT), and the private
