Saeed Zeinolabedinzadeh is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Minnesota. He served as Assistant Professor at ASU until 2025 and before joining UMN. received PhD from Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) in 2017 and conducted postdoctoral studies there before joining ASU in 2018.
Zeinolabedinzadeh’s research has been focused on developing high speed integrated circuits at RF, millimeter-wave and Terahertz frequencies (DC – 300+ GHz), as well as high-speed integrated electronics-photonics circuits.
He has more than 15 years of experience in design and development of chip-scale radio frequency front-end components and full transceiver circuits for communication, sensing and ranging applications. He has been serving as chair of IEEE SSCS chapter in Phoenix since 2020, and served as TPC Chair, and General Chair of SiRF 2021 and SiRF 2022 conferences in Radio Wireless Week respectively. He has received several prestigious awards including DARPA Young Faculty, and Office of Navy Research (ONR) Young Investigator awards.
