Physics from Technical University Dresden in Germany with a focus on \u201capplied solid state physics and photonics\u201d and minor subjects in nanoelectronics. For his Master\u2019s thesis, Doyeon investigated the thermal stability of 2D transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs) at Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf. Here, he investigated the optical and vibrational properties of TMDCs using Micro-Raman, photoluminescence spectroscopies in different atmospheres in-situ annealing. Additionally, surface morphology was studied using optical microscopy and Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM).
