Her expertise is in Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, and Machine Learning. Her work has been focused on multi-modal data processing; especially visual and textual data. She has several research papers in prestigious venues (PAMI, IEEE TIP, CVPR) on automatic image caption generation as well as semantic analysis of free-flowing text.
