BMI LAB

Brain Machine Interface Laboratory

Research led by Dr. Hamed Arami combines bioelectronic materials science, nanotechnology and molecular engineering to develop novel human-machine interfaces. Our initial focus will be on designing remotely-controlled neural interfaces for earlier diagnosis and more effective treatment of brain diseases, including tumors and neuropsychiatric disorders. The multidisciplinary research in our lab is supported by National Institutes of Health (NIH).

See our recent manuscript published by Nature Nanotechnology as an example for the variety of research projects pursued by Dr. Hamed Arami: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41565-022-01189-y

We are looking for motivated researchers to join the lab at postdoctoral, PhD and MS degree levels, as well as undergraduates. Please send your CV to Dr. Hamed Arami at hamed.arami@asu.edu.
